Anchored by a luminous labradorite, Composition No. 1 explores colour, rhythm, and balance through an intuitive arrangement of natural gemstones gathered over many years. Individually selected for their colour, shape, and character, each stone contributes to a composition that feels both harmonious and unexpected.

 

Hand-fabricated in rhodium-plated sterling silver, the necklace features labradorite alongside blue agate, citrine, Welo opal, moonstone, black spinel, and tourmaline in a variety of cuts, including carved, calibrated, freeform, and cabochon. Together, they create a one-of-a-kind composition that celebrates thoughtful craftsmanship and the beauty of collected materials.

 

Finished with a moonstone-set box clasp, the necklace is designed to be worn with either side facing forward. The reverse reveals the moonstone's natural pattern through its open-backed setting, offering a second, equally beautiful composition.
